Birch Tree Painting & Collage with Branch & Stone Studio
April 10th, 2:00-5:00 pm
Join Lindsay Criswell of Branch & Stone Studio for this painting and collage art session geared toward adults. Perfect for beginner and intermediate skill levels, this three-hour event will walk you through each step as you create a masterpiece of your very own!
Class fee is $35 per person and includes all the materials. Only 10 spots are available so we can maintain COVID regulations.
(Sidenote: I’ve known Lindsay since high school, and she’s so talented and creative! I’m really excited to have her using our back shop space as her studio to offer even more events and classes to the Marion area and make the Stitch & Skein space more of a creative, arsty hub! Are you in love with all the pretty sock yarns but not sure how to make socks out of them? This class is for you! Broken up over three class sessions, we’ll work through the parts of a sock so you, too, can wear your own warm, woolen socks this next winter!
Local Yarn Store Day
Saturday, April 17th – 10:00 am-5:00 pm
Join us for a fun day of celebrating yarn (and having a local yarn shop right in your own backyard)! Stop by the shop and hang out in our maker space, enjoy some tasty locally-made snacks, and there might just be some specially dyed skeins on the shelf just for the occasion!
Chunky Blanket Class

April and May might not seem like a great time to make a blanket, but let me tell ya – once you make one of these you’re going to want to make them as gifts for family and friends. They’re THAT fun!
Make your very own chunky blanket in this 2.5-hour in-studio class! We’ll guide you through casting on, making your blanket, and casting off. Most class participants leave class close to finishing, if not being done already!
Quarterly Spin-In
Sunday, April 25th, 1:00-4:00 pm
Grab your spindle or wheel, some fiber, and join us for the quarterly spin-in at Stitch & Skein! This event is free – just show up and enjoy the company of fellow fiber enthusiasts!
